Welcome to Solsken Studio!

I am a soft soul at heart who looks for the light, listens for the words and feels for the moments. I am a lover of life and travel, the open sky, the rush of an adventure and a good story. Outside of filming I live with my husband and two children on a property in Cobram East.

My filmmaking style is modern documentary with a nostalgic touch. Storytelling that is minimalist, heartfelt and true to my clients.

“Solsken” means sunshine in Swedish.

My film journey began after living & studying in beautiful Sweden. My experiences in Scandinavia and connection to the sun are the inspiration behind Solsken Studio.

Filmmaking means so much to me in my life and career. I’m obsessed with all the details - the way the light moves through the day, I see and feel it all. My films are all about the energy and emotions that I see, so you may remember the feeling like it was yesterday.

Back Story

  • Film found me from a love to document things. What began as a hobby in my 20s has evolved into a career in my 30s....and I'm so chuffed to be here :)

    To me, it is all about the story. I value all the small details that may go unnoticed to the big emotional moments that are essential to the celebration.

    My focus is all about connection not only with others but more and more with myself. Finding flow and balance in my own life has become a daily focus to slow down and ground myself. I am constantly reminded by my children to apppreciate the little things and being more present in what I do.

    I value all the good stuff in life, good food, good conversation, good travel and good stories to tell. I'm obsessed with memories but more than anything I want to remember them.

  • Every time I pick up my camera it is my hope to create films that are heartfelt and true to my couples or creatives.

    I book a limited amount of weddings per year so I can maintain balance in my life.

    This balance allows me to obsess over every edit like it was my own.

    I take a quiet approach to filming from the sidelines, observing and documenting what I see. I will help to style certain moments but also embrace the natural unscripted ones that unfold around me.

    I work intently on every project I oversee and value your investment in me. I am passionate about the filming and editing process and giving you the very best of your beautiful memories.
